The title refers to Magritte’s famous painting, and originally was the name of an ancient Indian city. Using two helium balloons hanging from their heads, the dancers interact with an urban environment as if they were flying. As if in a surrealist painting they rise up or fall down, dancing through traffic lines, gardens and squares. It is as if these urban settings were floating in the air, giving the audience the impression of an imaginary flight above the rest of the city.
